Hello!

Welcome to my photography blog. My name is Nicholas Sette and I am a meteorologist in Los Angeles, California. One of my greatest joys in life is traveling and snapping pictures with my partner, Gilberto. I plan to update this blog with pictures from our journeys around the world. Thank you for stopping by and enjoy!

Panamá

Panamá

Panamá is the connector and the divider of the South and the North. The East and the West are seamlessly intertwined by the immense amount of trade flowing through the Panama Canal. If you want to find the crossroads of the Americas -- this is it.

This country is known for its money and trade, but its scenery is truly remarkable and underrated. The Pacific beaches are colored with pale blue waters, deep green jungles and black and white sand. Steep hills ascend quickly from the coast. Jagged rocks jut out from the mountains, giving any climber a clear view down to the pale blue waters of the tropical Pacific below. Continue to the north about an hour more and suddenly the aquamarine Caribbean comes into view.

Panamá City's vibrant Casco Viejo truly feels like stepping back in time. The streets are full of artisanal boutiques, lively bars and restaurants. However, the immense skyscrapers looming just across the water reminds you what truly runs this city.
