Vienna
Vienna is a city that sits almost precisely in the middle of old world Europe along the Danube. It is cosmopolitan and charming as most European cities are. There are grand palaces and meticulous gardens are at every turn. If you wander a bit outside of the middle of the city, it becomes clear that it is a place that is still growing, modern and thriving. In spite of its grandiose history and architecture, the city somehow feels very homey and approachable. It is a part of the world where people seem quite aware of the fact that they are fortunate to live in such a beautiful city and desire to preserve it.
